The Ronald McDonald House butterfly garden got a facelift on Saturday! Sunrise Rotarians showed up to plant jasmine, trim, weed, and clean the gardens. And wow! What a difference a dedicated group of cooperative hands can make on a rainy Saturday morning.
Many thanks goes out to Bobbie Robinson for getting her landscape contractor friend, Glen Crosby, to assist in a big way. Glen and his crew weeded the garden area, prepared the planting area and delivered 700 jasmine plants thanks to a donation by Rodes Ground Cover Nursery out of Williston, who donated the plants.
The pictured Rotarians and Bobbie are super stars. They responded to a call to assist and showed up ready to work. We knocked out the effort in less than 2 hours! You can see more photos of the fun time on our Facebook page, so take a look there now!
